          Phospho-p73 (Tyr99) Antibody (PA5-104698) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Phospho-p73 (Tyr99) in human appendiceal tissue sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Phospho-p73 (Tyr99) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104698) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

Antibody detects endogenous levels of p73 only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 99.

          Target Information

P73 (TP73) participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage. Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, isoforms lacking the domain are anti-apoptotic and block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms. May be a tumor suppressor protein.
