          ASXL1 Antibody (PA5-78828) in WB

Western blot analysis of ASXL1 using ASXL1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78828). Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel)/90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 µg of sample under reducing conditions. Lane 1: human 293T whole cell lysates. Lane 2: human MCF-7 whole cell lysates. Lane 3: human CACO-2 whole cell lysates. Lane 4: rat C6 whole cell lysates. Lane 5: mouse NIH/3T3 whole cell lysates. After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a nitrocell... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Positive Control - WB: human 293T whole cell, human MCF-7 whole cell, human CACO-2 whole cell, rat C6 whole cell, mouse NIH/3T3 whole cell. Flow: HepG2 cell.

          Target Information

Probable Polycomb group (PcG) protein involved in transcriptional regulation mediated by ligand-bound nuclear hormone receptors, such as retinoic acid receptors (RARs) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARG). Acts as coactivator of RARA and RXRA through association with NCOA1. Acts as corepressor through recruitment of KDM1A and CBX5 to target genes in a cell-type specific manner; the function seems to involve differential recruitment of methylated histone H3 to respective promoters. Acts as corepressor for PPARG and suppresses its adipocyte differentiation-inducing activity. Non-catalytic component of the PR-DUB complex, a complex that specifically mediates deubiquitination of histone H2A monoubiquitinated at 'Lys-119' (H2AK119ub1).
