MED8 Antibody (PA5-79660) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of MED8 in U87 cells using MED8 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-79660). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 5 µg/mL and mouse anti-Tubulin beta antibody overnight at 4°C. Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that is one of more than 20 subunits of the mediator complex, first identified in S. cerevisiae, that is required for activation of transcription. The product of this gene also interacts with elongins B and C, and CUL2 and RBX1, to reconstitute a ubiquitin ligase. Two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described.
