This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58815. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

C11orf57 has three isoforms with MW 30-34 kDa and is a human gene that encodes a protein with an NKAP-related domain, suggesting a role in RNA processing or gene regulation. It is expressed in multiple tissues, but its precise biological function and relevance to disease are still not well defined.
