This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62834. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
MON1A is a cytosolic protein that peripherally associates with the ER. MON1A plays an important role in membrane trafficking through the secretory apparatus. MON1A affects different steps in the secretory pathway including endoplasmic reticulum-to-Golgi traffic. MON1A encodes several isoforms with MW about 62, 55, 45 and 34 kDa.
