This peptide corresponds to 17 amino acids near the center of human NCBP1.
PEP-1610 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-34567. For use as a blocking peptide in Western blot, incubate the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37ºC.
May be involved in protein trafficking from the plasma membrane to the early endosome (EE) as well as in homotypic fusion of endocytic organelles. Mediates the endocytic trafficking from early endosomes to late endosomes and lysosomes.
