Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (97%), Rat (97%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111013. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
TRPC7 is thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. TRPC7 is probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. TRPC7 is also activated by diacylglycerol (DAG). Further, TRPC7 may also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
