Deep learning model
To learn how to set up and use deep learning in Amira Software or Avizo Software, the user’s guide provides a dedicated step-by-step tutorial that can be found as follows:
- Open the application’s user’s guide (Help menu/user’s guide)
- Click on the “First steps?” link in the introduction section
- Click on the “Getting started with deep learning” link in the All Editions sections
The Deep Learning Functionalities in Amira-Avizo Software are available on Windows platforms only and requires an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA Compute Capability 3.5 or higher. Compatible GPUs are listed here: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus
Up-to-date drivers are required.
The active python environment must contain the appropriate packages, which can be installed from the menu Python > Environment > Create New Environment and selecting the "Install Deep Learning Packages" checkbox. Please refer to the user's guide for more details.
Deep Learning Models are selected from the interface of the Deep Learning Prediction Model module. A model is described by multiple files, sharing the same name but different extensions. These files must be kept together in the same directory, but can be installed anywhere on the computer.
