Speakers:

Maciej Bromirski

Maciej Bromirski
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Maciej Bromirski received his M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Manitoba, Canada, followed by a business degree from Georgetown University, USA, and EMBA from Poznan/Atlanta University of Economics, Poland. Maciej started his career at MassTech, Inc. as a research scientist working on novel TOF instrumentation and later moved to Europe to work at Waters Corp. as a Product Support Specialist. Upon his return to the USA, Maciej rejoined MassTech, Inc. as the Director of Business Development for AP/MALDI ion sources for 5 years. From 2010, Maciej was part of the product development and introduction team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bremen Germany. Since 2017, Maciej Bromirski undertook the Senior Product Marketing Manager role involved in global product marketing management for the Exactive MS series and recently the Orbitrap Exploris MS portfolio as well.

Aaron M. Robitaille

Aaron M. Robitaille
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Aaron Robitaille has focused his career on using mass spectrometry to understand how eukaryotic cells dynamically and quantitatively respond to their environment to ensure proper cell growth and determine cell fate. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Basel in Switzerland utilizing a phosphoproteomics to identify a mechanism by which the conserved kinase mTOR regulated pyrimidine synthesis and promoted cell proliferation. He then completed his post-doctoral research at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA using quantitative proteomics to study how embryonic stem cells differentiated. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Aaron is focused on supporting workflows that use Orbitrap Tribrid mass spectrometers to help develop innovative mass spectrometry technology that answers challenging biological questions.

Ralf Tautenhahn

Ralf Tautenhahn
Software Product Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Dr. Ralf Tautenhahn got involved into metabolomics in 2005 at the Institute for Plant Biochemistry in Halle, Germany where he developed algorithms and software for LC/MS data processing and interpretation. He continued this work at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. Ralf joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2013 as platform manager for metabolomics software.
