Unified software systems: One solution, one great user experience

Now you and your team no longer need to learn and juggle two separate software systems. By working with the always-on live data provided by the Thermo Scientific Axia ChemiSEM System, you can process larger data volumes and create experimental datasets with higher statistical precision while the system automatically collects the chemical information you need.

More automation, faster insights

Automation is built into this system. Its advanced SmartAlign technology automates alignments and manages column parameters seamlessly, allowing you to focus on analyzing your sample. And live quantitative EDS mapping automatically deconvolves peak overlaps and correctly assigns them to the correct elements, helping you improve the speed and productivity of the lab so you can do more with minimal training.

Maximize productivity with advanced tools for richer day-to-day data

The Axia ChemiSEM System has a range of built-in tools that accelerate data acquisition and increase production quality. With newly developed automatic functions to correct focus and astigmatism, the system helps to ensure a smoother user experience by always being ready to image, helping you maximize productivity without technical interruptions.

Plus, the highly developed User Guidance provides a set of workflows that suggests the correct steps and parameters depending on your application of interest. Each step is hyperlinked directly to the SEM graphical user interface, allowing you to execute functions through the guide or simply use the guide as a learning tool.

Built-in reporting to get the most from your data

Turning data into meaningful information is crucial. That’s why the Axia ChemiSEM System provides unique, built-in reporting capabilities. After importing each data cube, it presents a wide range of options and features to help you re-analyze EDS data, adjust the color of elements, extract spectra from smaller areas, or simply cross-check analyses with previously acquired data.

Large-capacity sample chamber built for your biggest needs

One of the greatest challenges in industrial R&D operations is the practical need to test a greater number of samples each day, with no compromise on analytical quality. The Axia ChemiSEM System’s large-capacity sample chamber and fully opening door provide effortless access to a stage capable of supporting up to 10 kg. The enhanced pumping system enables imaging in under two minutes. And the Thermo Scientific Nav-Cam Camera provides an intuitive view of saved locations and precise stage positions—even with rotation applied—so you always have a clear understanding of the current imaging location and previously examined areas of interest.

The Axia ChemiSEM System simplifies much of the complexity of imaging. It’s easy to install and use, always live, and able to deliver reliably precise results with minimal preparation.

The Axia ChemiSEM System supports the analysis of large and tall samples, facilitated by a fully opening door. The integrated Nav-Cam Camera delivers a clear view of the sample position, enabling precise targeting of the desired field of view. The large chamber can accommodate samples weighing up to 10 kg.
