The affinity of THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01244) for an N-terminal HA tag was analyzed in an Immunocytochemistry analysis of N-terminal HA tag protein-transfected HEK 293 cells using THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01244). The primary antibody was THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01244) used at 1 µg/mL concentration. The secondary antibody was Fluorescein Conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG used at 2 µg/mL concentration.

GenScript THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (A01244) is a highly sensitive monoclonal antibody applicable to HA-tagged fusion protein detection. It belongs to our THE™ elite antibody collection. HA, or human influenza hemagglutinin, is a surface glycoprotein required for human influenza virus infectivity. The HA tag does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of recombinant proteins. THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01244) is a high-affinity monoclonal antibody that can be used to detect HA-tagged proteins. This product detects HA tags derived from an HA molecule corresponding to amino acids 98-106. It has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag that provides a method to localize gene products in a variety of cell types, study the topology of proteins and protein complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize newly identified, low abundance or poorly immunogenic proteins when protein specific antibodies are not available. HA (hemagglutinin) is a surface glycoprotein derived from influenza hemagglutinin, and is commonly expressed as a tag in conjunction with proteins to aid in identification and purification of the tagged protein for functional analysis. HA tag antibodies can be used to facilitate protein detection or co-immunopreciptation of tagged proteins.
