AHI1 Antibody (A303-300A) in IP
Detection of human AHI1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-AHI1 antibody (Product # A303-300A) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. AHI1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-AHI1 antibody A303-301A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated AHI1, A303-301A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

Target Information
This gene is apparently required for both cerebellar and cortical development in humans. This gene mutations cause specific forms of Joubert syndrome-related disorders. Joubert syndrome (JS) is a recessively inherited developmental brain disorder with several identified causative chromosomal loci. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
