CD32 Antibody (MA1-81209) in Flow
Flow cytometry analysis of CD32/FCGR2 was done on human peripheral blood granulocytes. Lysed whole blood was stained with a CD32/FCGR2 mouse monoclonal antibody (Product # MA1-81209) at a concentration of 0.2mg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature. The epitope recognized by this antibody is reported to be sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. We recommend the use of acetone fixation for frozen sections. A suggested positive control for immunohistochemical applications is lymph node.
This product contains sodium azide; removal by dialysis is recommended prior to use in functional assays. Dialysis cassettes are suitable for this purpose.
Target Information
This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
