TRPC7 Antibody (MA5-45474) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis using human neuroblastoma cells. Fixation involved 4% PFA for 15 min. Samples were incubated with TrpC7 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-45474) at 1:100 for overnight at 4°C with slow rocking, followed by AlexaFluor 488 at 1:1,000 for 1 hour at RT. Counterstain used was Phalloidin-iFluor 647 (red) F-Actin stain; Hoechst (blue) nuclear stain at 1:800, 1.6mM for 20 min at RT. (A) Hoechst (blue) nuclear stain. (B) Phalloidin-iFluor 647 (red) F-Actin stain. (C) TrpC7 antibody (D) Composite.

Target Information
TRPC7 is thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. TRPC7 is probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. TRPC7 is also activated by diacylglycerol (DAG). Further, TRPC7 may also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
