NEIL1 Antibody (PA5-85591) in WB
Western Blot analysis of NEIL1 was performed by separating 30 µg of non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts by 10% SDS-PAGE. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and probed with a NEIL1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-85591) at a dilution of 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Target Information
NEIL1 belongs to a class of DNA glycosylases homologous to the bacterial Fpg/Nei family. These glycosylases initiate the first step in base excision repair by cleaving bases damaged by reactive oxygen species and introducing a DNA strand break via the associated lyase reaction.
