UNC5B Antibody (PA5-47038) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemical analysis of UNC5B in perfusion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of rat brain. Samples were incubated with UNC5B Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47038) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Goat IgG HRP Secondary Antibody. Tissue was stained with DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) UNC5H3 and recombinant rat UNC5H1 is observed, and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhUNC5H4 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Receptor for netrin required for axon guidance. Mediates axon repulsion of neuronal growth cones in the developing nervous system upon ligand binding. Axon repulsion in growth cones may be caused by its association with DCC that may trigger signaling for repulsion. It also acts as a dependence receptor required for apoptosis induction when not associated with netrin ligand. Mediates apoptosis by activating DAPK1. In the absence of NTN1, activates DAPK1 by reducing its autoinhibitory phosphorylation at Ser-308 thereby increasing its catalytic activity.
