ID NIMBUS Presto system

The ID NIMBUS Presto system is an extraction and purification solution that can process up to 96 samples, in under 90 minutes. This system, co-developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific and Hamilton, is optimized for use with Applied Biosystems PrepFiler and PrepFiler BTA chemistry, demonstrating excellent reproducibility for most complex forensic sample types — including bone and touch DNA samples — quickly and easily.

Watch the animation below for more details on how the system works.

The deck of the ID NIMBUS Presto system is preconfigured but flexible- you can set it up to accept samples in tubes or plates and define the output as tubes, deep-well plates or PCR plates, as well.
