Gibco ExpressionWorld 2017 is around the corner!

Imagine no more because it’s that time of the year again! In May 2016, Thermo Fisher Scientific demonstrated its commitment to the scientific community by hosting Gibco ExpressionWorld, a virtual conference that reached an impressive number of researchers worldwide. The conference, which focused primarily on protein expression, provided an innovative and convenient platform for scientists to communicate their discoveries from the comfort of their office or laboratory, thus eliminating any burden imposed by travel expenditures. More than 1200 scientists from over 40 countries participated in 2016 ExpressionWorld and we anticipate an even bigger 2017 ExpressionWorld event.

During 2016 ExpressionWorld, Dr. Jon Zmuda presented data that demonstrated the superior performance that can be expected from the ExpiCHO Expression System. ExpiCHO titers range from 25–160 times those of FreeStyle CHO, and 2 – 4 times those obtained using the Expi293 system.
