Sabrina Antonio is a Regional Marketing Manager for the Trace Elemental Analysis and Inorganic Mass Spectrometry product lines at Thermo Fisher Scientific. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and has more than 25 years of experience across chemical engineering, analytical chemistry, atomic spectroscopy, sales, and technical marketing.
Her career began in laboratory and field-based technical roles, including work as an industrial QA/QC chemist and as a U.S. EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) Lead Auditor for inorganic analysis, where she gained in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and workflow challenges faced by many laboratories. In the field of engineering, she was a Senior Chemical Engineer at Con Edison of New York City Steam Operations, Energy Conservation Engineer and Construction Project Manager at the New York Power Authority designing and implementing energy efficient upgrades in New York City buildings, and as an Application Engineer for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm designing cooling towers for processing plants throughout southeast Asia. This experience helped to build a strong foundation in industrial operations, process efficiency, and environmental, health and safety standards for chemical plants and commercial buildings.
Before moving into marketing, Sabrina worked as a Product and Application Specialist for atomic spectroscopy instrumentation, supporting customers and applications in elemental analysis for pre-sale opportunities and post-sale support. For the past eight years at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she has developed and executed regional marketing strategies for ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and related advanced inorganic analysis technologies. Drawing on her diverse technical and commercial background, Sabrina creates educational content that helps analysts better understand the benefits of the latest instrumentation innovations, solve daily analytical challenges, and improve laboratory productivity and workflow efficiency.
