Suzy Brown is a Senior Field Application Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, supporting Pharma Analytics customers across the UK and Ireland. She leads training and implementation for the Pharma Analytics portfolio and serves as the subject matter expert for MycoSEQ across the EMEA region, helping customers implement robust analytical workflows and improve data quality in biopharmaceutical applications.

Dr. Brown holds a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Manchester, where her research focused on identifying genes involved in pattern formation using Dictyostelium discoideum through molecular, proteomic, and next-generation sequencing approaches.

Prior to joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, she worked as an Analytical Development Scientist at Allergan Biologics, where she gained experience in qPCR, Sanger sequencing, and impurity testing within a biopharmaceutical environment.

Accomplishments

Dr. Brown has a strong background in molecular and cell biology, with expertise in qPCR, next-generation sequencing, and biopharmaceutical analytical workflows. Her experience spans both academic research and industry, including analytical development within a biopharmaceutical setting.
