Adam Goldstein is Senior Director of R&D for Single-Use Technologies and Innovation at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he leads the strategy and development of next-generation biomanufacturing solutions that advance process intensification, sustainability, and scalable manufacturing across the company’s bioproduction network. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Adam has played a key role in the startup and operationalization of five major biotech manufacturing facilities, including Genentech, Amgen, Biogen, Baxter, and GenVec. Before joining Thermo Fisher, he served as Global Lead for Single-Use Technologies at Roche/Genentech, leading global initiatives in process technology deployment, tech transfer, and operational excellence across multiple sites. Adam also co-founded the ISPE Disposables Users Forum, serves as a Scientific Advisor for the BioProcess International Conference (IBC), and contributes to industry advisory boards focused on single-use technologies, process intensification, and sustainable biomanufacturing.
