Maria Grübner is a Senior Product Applications Specialist in the Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Germering, Germany. She graduated from the Technical University of Munich in 2011 with a state examination in Food Chemistry. Following her studies, she spent five years conducting research at the Chair of Food Chemistry and Molecular Sensory Science, focusing on two-dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC) and its application in metabolomics studies.
Maria joined the HPLC Product Applications team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2016. In her current role, she contributes to the development, testing, and validation of new HPLC and LC-MS products and features. Her responsibilities also include developing application collateral, managing scientific collaborations, and supporting escalated field cases.
With extensive experience in analytical chromatography, Maria has particular expertise in HPLC and UHPLC, LC-MS, LC method transfer, and non-conventional and multidimensional LC workflows. Her combination of academic research and industry experience enables her to bridge fundamental separation science with practical applications and emerging chromatography technologies.
