After early experience in civil construction, he moved into handheld analytical technologies, developing strong expertise in mining applications for handheld XRF and LIBS. Based in Portugal — a country with a rich mining heritage from copper and gold to today’s lithium boom — he enjoys sharing knowledge across the full mining cycle, from R&D and exploration to sustainable mine closure.
With over 18 years of experience in sales and marketing of high-tech industrial solutions, Pedro serves as Senior Sales & Marketing Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He leads the growth strategy for portable XRF and LIBS across Europe, CIS, and Africa, managing distributor networks, expanding into new markets, and driving impactful marketing initiatives. He also leads Direct Sales teams in France, Italy, and Belgium, empowering them to strengthen customer relationships and deliver strong performance.
