Manimozhi Manivannan is Associate Director of Bioinformatics & Data Science at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Mani leads computational strategy and bioinformatics innovation for genomics and molecular biology technologies. With more than 14 years of experience, Mani has worked at the intersection of biology, data science, and product development, helping translate emerging genomic technologies into scalable scientific and commercial solutions. Throughout a career spanning targeted sequencing, single-cell multi-omics, molecular diagnostics, PCR technologies, and genomic surveillance, Mani has developed bioinformatics algorithms, analytical methods, and AI-enabled workflows that support assay design, biological interpretation, and decision-making. Research contributions include peer-reviewed publications in leading scientific journals, including Nature, as well as patent applications focused on genomics, machine learning, and bioinformatics.
