Kevin Roberts is a biotechnology leader with more than 20 years of experience in biologics process development, downstream purification, and technical leadership. As Senior Manager of Purification Field Application Scientists for North America at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he leads a team of scientific experts supporting customers across process development, manufacturing, MSAT, and CMC. His team partners with customers to optimize chromatography-based purification workflows while collaborating cross-functionally to develop innovative products and drive commercial growth.
Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Kevin held technical and leadership roles at Cytiva, Allergan, Avid Bioservices, the University of Southern California, and UC Irvine, where he built deep expertise in chromatography, purification process development, technology transfer, and biologics manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, developed purification processes for a wide range of biologic therapeutics, and worked closely with clients to advance molecules from early development through cGMP manufacturing. Kevin is passionate about helping biopharmaceutical organizations solve complex purification challenges, translating customer insights into innovative solutions, and developing high-performing scientific teams.
