Sue Woods

Sr Manager R&D - Applications Lead, Thermo Fisher Scientific

As  geochemist with a material science viewpoint, my professional interest has always involved the investigation of materials to link their properties with performance gains.  Material analysis and analytical instrumentation is central to these investigations, and I have been fortunate to work in a variety of industries including chemical applications, solar, electrodeposition and connector manufacturing.  Development of analytical instrumentation brings together this experience in novel ways for customers to investigate their own suites of materials.
