Becky Tuckwell is Regional Marketing Manager for EMEA at Thermo Fisher Scientific and holds a PhD in analytical chemistry. Her career combines a strong foundation in environmental analytical chemistry with extensive experience in scientific instrumentation and communication.
Her research experience includes work with the British Antarctic Survey, applying analytical chemistry to the monitoring of pollutants and environmental tracers. This background has given her first-hand insight into the challenges of detecting, measuring and understanding contaminants in complex environmental samples.
Becky later moved into the scientific instrumentation industry, developing extensive expertise in ion chromatography and other analytical technologies.
Since 2023, Becky has been Regional Marketing Manager for EMEA at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she draws on her scientific background and industry experience to communicate complex analytical topics and connect scientific innovation with the needs of scientists and laboratories across the region.
