This CDK17/cyclin Y recombinant human protein (CDK17: full length, cyclin Y: 2–end) was expressed in insect cells. CDK17/cyclin Y serine/threonine kinase or cyclin-dependent kinase 17 belongs to the cdc2/cdkx subfamily of kinases. CDK17/cyclin Y has similarity to a rat protein that is thought to play a role in terminally differentiated neurons. The identification of a large family of cdc2-related kinases opens the possibility of combinatorial regulation of the cell cycle together with the emerging large family of cyclins. CDK17/cyclin Y recombinant human protein is also available in our
