Beschreibung

Regioselective chlorination and oxidizing reagentN-Chlorosuccinimide is used as a chlorinating agent, mild oxidant and swimming pool disinfectant. It is used in the microdetermination of hydrazine salts by titrimetry as well as in the detection of arsenic in the +3 oxidative state. It is also employed in the production of rubber additives. Further, it is used as pharmaceutical intermediate and antibiotic drugs intermediate.

Anwendungen
Regioselektive Chlorierung und oxidierendes Reagenz. N-Chlorosuccinimid wird als Chlorierungsmittel, mildes Oxidationsmittel und Schwimmbaddesinfektionsmittel verwendet. Es wird bei der Mikrobestimmung von Hydrazinsalzen durch Titrometrie sowie beim Nachweis von Arsen im +3-oxidativen Zustand verwendet. Es wird auch bei der Herstellung von Gummizusätzen eingesetzt. Darüber hinaus wird es als pharmazeutisches Zwischenprodukt und als Zwischenprodukt für Antibiotika-Medikamente verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Alkohol, Benzol, Aceton und Essigsäure. Schwer löslich in Äther, Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff und Petrolether.

Hinweise
Licht- und feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Säuren, starken Basen, Aminen, Ammoniak, Eisen und Eisensalzen.
