Beschreibung

tert-Butyldiphenylchlorosilane acts as a silylating reagent used to protect alcohols and in the preparation of silyl ethers. It plays a major role as a raw material and a precursor in organic synthesis and pharmaceuticals. It is also used for the synthesis of interphenylene phenyloxazoles which can be used for the treatment of circulatory disorders, angina and stroke.

Anwendungen
Tert-Butyldiphenylchlorosilan dient als Silylierungsreagenz zum Schutz von Alkoholen und zur Herstellung von Silylethern. Es spielt eine große Rolle als Rohstoff und Vorstufe in der organischen Synthese und für Pharmazeutika. Es wird auch für die Synthese von interphenylenen Phenyloxazolen verwendet, die zur Behandlung von Kreislaufstörungen, Angina und Schlaganfall eingesetzt werden können.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Chloroform und Ethylacetat. Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, Wasser und Basen.
