Anwendungen
Methyl-3-hydroxybenzoesäure wird bei der Herstellung von 3-Hydroxybenzol-1,2-dicarbaldehyd und O-Methyl-O-[3-methyl-4-(methylthio)phenyl]O-(3-methylcarboxyphenyl)phosphorthioat verwendet.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
