2-Butyn-1-ol is used in the synthesis of homocoupling products. It is also used to inhibit corrosion of iron in acidic solution.

Anwendungen
2-Butin-1-ol wird bei der Synthese von Homokupplungs-Produkten verwendet. Verwendung auch zur Korrosionshemmung von Eisen in saurer Lösung.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Chloroform und Methanol.
