Beschreibung

n-Butyl methacrylate is used as a building block of polymer based products that are used in paints and coatings, resins, adhesives, toners and inks, oil additives for dental and medical products. Its polymer polybutyl methacrylate (PBMA) with the sodium salt of partially carboxymethylated guar gum (Na-PCMGG, DS = 0.497) is synthesized using ceric ammonium nitrate as a redox initiator.

Anwendungen
N-Butyl Methacrylat wird als Baustein polymerbasierter Produkte verwendet, die in Farben und Beschichtungen, Harzen, Klebstoffen, Toner und Tinten, Ölzusätzen für Dentalprodukte und medizinische Produkte verwendet werden. Sein Polymer-Polybutyl-Methacrylat (PBMA) mit dem Natriumsalz des teilweise carboxymethylierten Guargummis (Na-PCMGG, DS = 0.497) wird mit Ceric-Ammoniumnitrat als Redoxinitiator synthetisiert.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Ethylether und Ethanol. Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Säuren, starken Basen, starken Oxidationsmitteln und starken Reduktionsmitteln. Kühl lagern.
