Beschreibung

Allylchlorodimethylsilane is used in the synthesis of cyclo-1,1?,4,4?-bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-disiloxanediyl)dibenzene, silylating agent for steroids for analysis by GC-MS. Also used in the preparation of phenylenebis(silanediyl triflates), useful synthons for organosilicon polymers, O-silylation of phenyl sulfones.

Anwendungen
Allylchlorodimethylsilan wird bei der Synthese von Cyclo-1,1′,4,4′-bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-disiloxandiyl)dibenzol, als Silylierungsmittel für Steroide zur Analyse durch GC-MS verwendet. Wird auch bei der Herstellung von Phenylen-bis(Silanediyl-Triflaten) verwendet, nützliches Synthon für Organosilicolpolymere, für die O-Silylierung von Phenylsulfonen.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in den meisten organischen Lösungsmitteln; reagiert mit Alkoholen, Aminen und Wasser.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Basen, Wasser/Feuchtigkeit fernhalten.
