6-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid (4; 87%) was obtained from 2-bromo-6-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine, which was in turn derived from 2-bromo-6-iodopyridine by trifluoromethylating displacement of iodine.

Anwendungen
6-Trifluormethyl-2-pyridincarboxylsäure (4; 87 %) wird aus 2-Brom-6-(trifluormethyl)pyridin gewonnen, das wiederum aus 2-Brom-6-iodpyridin durch Trifluor-methylierende Iodverschiebung abgeleitet wurde.

Hinweise
Lichtempfindlich. Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln fernhalten.
