α-Methylstyrene (AMS) is used in the synthesis of (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic copolymer)/(α-methylstyrene-acrylonitrile copolymer). It is used in the manufacture of plasticizers, resins and polymers.

Anwendungen
α-Methylstyrol (AMS) wird bei der Synthese von (Acrylnitrilstyrol-Acryl-Copolymer)/(α-Methylstyrol-Acrylnitril-Copolymer) verwendet. Es wird zur Herstellung von Weichmachern, Harzen und Polymeren verwendet.

Wasserlöslich (0,1 g/l) bei 25 °C.

Bei 4 °C lagern. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, Peroxiden, Organometallverbindungen und metallischen Salzen.
