Beschreibung

Isophorone diisocyanate is useful for the preparation of polyurethane plastics. It is also used to make polyurethane coatings and in enamel coatings, which are resistant to abrasion and degradation from ultraviolet light. Further, it is used as coatings for automotive, flooring and roofing as well as paint applied to aircraft.

Anwendungen
Isophorondiisocyanat ist für die Herstellung von Polyurethankunststoffen geeignet. Es wird auch zur Herstellung von Polyurethanbeschichtungen und in Emailbeschichtungen verwendet, die gegen Abrieb und Abbau durch ultraviolettes Licht beständig sind. Darüber hinaus wird es als Beschichtungen für Automobil-, Bodenbelag- und Dachkonstruktionen sowie als Lackierung für Flugzeuge eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Estern, Ketonen, Ether sowie aromatischen und aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Säuren und Alkoholen.
