Les colorations bactériennes BacLight Green (réf. B-35000) et BacLight Red (réf. B-35001) sont des réactifs de marquage fluorescents pour la détection et la surveillance des bactéries. Ces deux colorants ne sont pas des colorants acides nucléiques. Les bactéries colorées avec les colorations bactériennes BacLight Green et BacLight Red présentent une fluorescence rouge et vert vif (absorption / émission de respectivement environ 480 / 516 et environ 581 / 644 nm), et peuvent être résolues à l’aide des canaux cytométriques à flux approprié ou des filtres de microscopie à fluorescence. Les colorations bactériennes BacLight sont compatibles avec les méthodes de fixation du formaldéhyde ou de l’alcool.

What bacterial parameters can I look at by flow cytometry?

You can stain bacteria with a general stain such as BacLight Green Bacterial Stain (Cat. No. B35000) or BacLight Red Bacterial Stain (Cat. No. B35001). You can look at gram character (Cat. No. L7005), cell viability (Cat. Nos. L7007, L7012, and L13152), cell count (Cat. Nos. L34856 and B7277), and cell vitality. Cell vitality can be measured by membrane potential (Cat. No. B34950) or by metabolism (Cat. Nos. B34954 and B34956).
