SERPINH1 Antibody (MA5-45301) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis using human heat shocked cervical cancer cells. Fixation involved 2% Formaldehyde for 20 min at RT. Samples were incubated with Hsp47 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-45301) at 1:100 for 12 hours at 4°C, followed by FITC Goat Anti-Mouse (green) at 1:200 for 2 hours at RT. Target Information
SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors, and its expression is induced by heat shock. The SERPINH1 protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen; thus it is thought to be a molecular chaperone involved in the maturation of collagen molecules. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
