SERPINH1 Antibody (MA5-27711) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SERPINH1 in human heat shocked HeLa cells. Sample was fixed using 2% formaldehyde (20 min at RT), incubated with SERPINH1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27711) using a dilution of 1:100 (12 hours at 4°C), and followed by APC Goat Anti-Mouse (red) at 1:200 for 2 hours at RT. Target Information
SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors, and its expression is induced by heat shock. The SERPINH1 protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen; thus it is thought to be a molecular chaperone involved in the maturation of collagen molecules. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
