Plane Tools - Surface and Volume Distance to Plane and Spatial Graph Projection onto Plane
This Xtra provides a set of three modules to compute distance and projection to a user-defined plane.
This Xtra provides a set of three modules and an example project file for each module.
- Distance from Plane: computes the euclidean distance from each voxel of a label field to a given plane.
- Surface Distance from Plane: computes the euclidean distance from each vertex of a surface to a given plane.
- Project Spatial Graph: projects a Spatial Graph on a given plane.
For each module the plane can be defined manually, or by connecting it to a plane existing in the Project View (such as a Slice, a Clipping Plane, etc), or by connecting it to a spreadsheet containing barycenter and eigenvector information. This last case can be useful to work with the plane defined by the main directions of an object (such as a fracture or a crack).
The modules can be created by right-clicking on the data, then searching for Xtra > Plane Tools.
