With the advanced instrument support capabilities of AccuSEQ software v4.0, you can rapidly switch between QuantStudio 7 Pro and QuantStudio 5 instruments and block types

QuantStudio real-time PCR systems can detect subtle changes in gene expression, as small as 1.5-fold, which may be overlooked by other systems. With a dynamic range of up to 10 logs, these systems can track extensive changes in expression across various sample types and conditions.

QuantStudio systems feature the OptiFlex system to help enhance data accuracy between wells and across instruments. This system supports advanced multiplexing of multiple genes by using decoupled excitation and emission filter channels. Additionally, the OptiFlex system allows for both TaqMan- and SYBR-based assays to be conducted within the same run.

QuantStudio systems offer varying numbers of excitation and emission filters, ranging from 3 on the QuantStudio 1 system to 6, with up to 21 filter combinations on the QuantStudio 7 Pro system. This enables the quantification of multiple genes within a single experiment for maximum flexibility for experimental design. The table below outlines the dye compatibility for each system.

QuantStudio 7 Pro and QuantStudio 5 systems

Help optimize your laboratory space with the QuantStudio 7 Pro, which features interchangeable blocks to adapt to your evolving needs. Options range from 96-well plates for small-scale optimization to 12,000 data points—using four OpenArray plates with 3,072 through-holes each—on select systems. The blocks can be easily swapped without tools.

Most QuantStudio systems are equipped with 96-well VeriFlex blocks featuring 3–6 zones. These blocks are designed for precise temperature control, minimizing small variances that can cause inconsistent results. Each zone can be set to a different temperature within a single run, enabling multiple experiments to be conducted simultaneously and enhancing productivity.

Touchscreens help simplify editing and reduce errors with experimental conditions and viewing plate layouts. Pre-optimized protocol templates and locked workflow features are designed to enhance experimental consistency. As experiments run, results are displayed in real-time, allowing you to focus on specific graphs or data points as needed

QuantStudio 7 Pro System

Quickly and easily change blocks—for example, 96- to 384-wells—with no tools required. On-board software guides through a simple process.

The QuantStudio 7 Pro real-time PCR system offers exceptional flexibility to support various applications and throughput needs. Designed with smart features to reduce contamination, it allows hands-free setup and remote scheduling and monitoring from your mobile device. The system's 96-well blocks with VeriFlex technology offers precise temperature control with isolated zones for separate cycling conditions within the same run, well suited for optimization. The QuantStudio 7 Pro System also supports interchangeable blocks for increased throughput, accommodating 96-well, 384-well, and TaqMan array cards. Additional features include automation compatibility and software to assist with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Features

In addition to the common features of all QuantStudio systems, the QuantStudio 7 Pro system offers:

  • Interchangeable blocks that enable the flexibility to change block formats between 96-well (0.1 and 0.2 mL), 384-well, and TaqMan array cards with ease by simply pushing a button or using a voice command
  • Automation compatibility that can help increase productivity and reduce your manual tasks by adding automatic loading with the pre-configured Orbitor RS2 microplate mover, or integration with other lab automation
  • Software to assist with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance—included with the QuantStudio 7 Pro system
  • Multiplexing—5 or 6 optical channels (21 filter combinations)
  • Remote setup, monitoring, and sharing to monitor experiments and access results remotely using the Instrument Connect app
  • Smart features for hands-free functionality, including facial authentication login, an RFID reader, and the ability to perform basic operations using voice commands
  • Sustainability features designed to create less waste, require fewer resources, and increase energy efficiency
    • Uses up to 54% less material than comparable instruments
    • Generates up to 91% less waste during calibration than comparable instruments
    • Consumes up to 26% less energy than comparable instruments
