          RUNX3 Antibody (MA5-17169) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence analysis of RUNX3 was performed using 70% confluent log phase SW480 and Hep G2 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 10 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. The cells were labeled with RUNX3 Monoclonal Antibody (2B3) (Product # MA5-17169) at 1:100 in 0.1% BSA, incubated at 4 degree celsius overnight and then labeled with Donkey anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Highly Cross-Adsorbed Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor™ Plus 488 (Produ... Product Specific Information

MA5-17169 targets RUNX3 in indirect ELISA, FACS, ICC, IHC, IF and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and Mouse samples.

The MA5-17169 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human RUNX3 (amino acids:186-252) expressed in E. Coli.

MA5-17169 detects RUNX3 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 44.4kDa.

          Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the runt domain-containing family of transcription factors. A heterodimer of this protein and a beta subunit forms a complex that binds to the core DNA sequence 5'-PYGPYGGT-3' found in a number of enhancers and promoters, and can either activate or suppress transcription. It also interacts with other transcription factors. It functions as a tumor suppressor, and the gene is frequently deleted or transcriptionally silenced in cancer. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
