NanoDrop DNA-RNA deconvolution application note
When preparing DNA samples, RNA contamination can be a substantial problem, as it will skew fluorometry analysis, drastically overestimating how much DNA is actually present. In this application note, our Thermo Scientific NanoDrop Spectrophotometer with Thermo Scientific Acclaro Intelligence Technology Software was used to perform a full spectral analysis of DNA samples. The advanced algorithms of Acclaro Software are able to deconvolute DNA and RNA signal, correctly indicating how much DNA is present.
