Ion GeneStudio S5 Systems

The Ion GeneStudio S5 systems, which includes the Ion GeneStudio S5, S5 Plus, and S5 Prime systems, are semiconductor-based next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms designed for fast, flexible targeted DNA sequencing. They enable researchers to generate from 2 million to over 280 million reads per run and can complete sequencing runs in as fast as 3 hours.

 

The systems are optimized for a broad range of clinical research applications such as oncology research, reproductive health research, inherited disease analysis, and infectious disease and microbiology studies, combining rapid sequencing with integrated data analysis to streamline the path from sample to answer.
