TypeStream Visual NGS Analysis Software 3.1 Key Features

This update offers new functionality and multiple feature enhancements. A few key highlights are:

• Several genotyping results improvements, such as:
  • Improved genotype ambiguity calling where the possible genotypes share an allele.
  • A new health metric called “Homopolymer Ambiguity” was added to assist in genotypes based on the length of a homopolymer.
  • Improved identification of cis/trans ambiguities.
• Coverage normalization will be an option for all genes for both AllType and AllType FASTPlex for improvement performance and genotyping quality.
• The RUO mode of the software will have the option for liquid handler support for both ION and Illumina sequencing.
