          CaMKII beta/gamma/delta Antibody (PA5-105298) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded CaMKII beta/gamma/delta in human brain tissues sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with CaMKII beta/gamma/delta polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-105298) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total CaMK2 beta/ gamma/ delta.

          Target Information

The Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinases (CaM kinases) comprise a structurally related subfamily of serine/threonine kinases which include CaMKI, CaMKII and CaMKIV. CaMKII is an ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine protein kinase that is activated by Ca2+ and calmodulin (CaM) and has been implicated in regulation of the cell cycle and transcription. There are four CaMKII isozymes, designated alpha, beta, gamma and delta, which may or may not be coexpressed in the same tissue type. CaMKIV is stimulated by Ca2+ and CaM but also requires phosphorylation by a CaMK for full activation.
