This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65683. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Five human RAD 51 homologues have been identified: XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, and RAD51D. Each of these homologues interacts with one or more of the others, with all of the proteins involved in one complex or multiple smaller complexes. Rad51B plays a role in meiotic recombination and/or recombinational repair.
