Recombinant protein G is produced in a strain of E. coli which contains the gene for protein G from Streptococcus sp. This protein G is conjugated with highly purified horseradish peroxidase (RZ > 3.0) and is in enyme conjugate stabilizer containing 0.19% Kathon CG/ICP.

Recombinant protein G binds to the Fc region of many types of immunoglobulin G including:

• all four subclasses of human IgG
• mouse IgG
• rabbit IgG
• guinea pig IgG
• rat IgG
• goat IgG
• sheep IgG
• cow IgG
• horse IgG

Recombinant protein G does not bind to IgG from chicken or cat, or to human IgA, IgM, or serum albumin. It binds weakly to IgG from dog.

Abstract
Phosphorylation of the human estrogen receptor. Identification of hormone-regulated sites and examination of their influence on transcriptional activity.
Authors:Le Goff P, Montano MM, Schodin DJ, Katzenellenbogen BS
Journal:J Biol Chem
PubMed ID:8308015
'We have used a transient transfection system with a cytomegalovirus-based vector expressing high levels of biologically active human estrogen receptor (ER) in COS-1 cells to study the phosphorylation of human ER and to identify major hormone-regulated phosphorylation sites. The features of phosphorylation of the wild-type ER were very similar to ... More
T cell antigen receptor immune complexes demonstrating biologic and proteolytic activity.

Journal:Int Immunol
PubMed ID:8095154
An elastase-like protease, recently recognized as a specific product of murine T cells, may functionally associate with the classical TCR. T cell elastase, found in combination with the natural elastase inhibitor alpha 1-antitrypsin (alpha 1-protease inhibitor, alpha 1-PI), is produced by both CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes. T cell elastase ... More
Association and evidence for linked recognition of type IV secretion system proteins VirB9-1, VirB9-2, and VirB10 in Anaplasma marginale.
Authors:Morse K, Norimine J, Palmer GH, Sutten EL, Baszler TV, Brown WC
Journal:Infect Immun
PubMed ID:22038917
Like several other bacterial pathogens, Anaplasma marginale has an outer membrane that induces complete protection from infection and disease. However, the proteins that confer protective immunity and whether protection requires interacting proteins and/or linked T-cell and immunoglobulin G epitopes are not known. Our goal is to target the conserved type ... More
