General Description

  • 5-Azacytidine is a chemical analog of the nucleoside cytidine that incorporates into DNA and inhibits DNA methylation
  • At low doses, 5-azacytidine irreversibly binds the enzyme DNA methyltransferase (DNMT)

Applications
